Auro Classic Wall Paint – 321 – is an interior paint that can, in many cases, be applied directly over an existing water-based synthetic paint. Made from natural resins, it is a natural white color with a slightly velvety matte finish. It is ready to use and can be diluted with water. The wall paint is available in white or light colors only. It is easily applied with a brush or a roller and has a good resistance to abrasion.
When using the product, the complete product information must be observed.
For paints on mineral and organic substrates (wallpaper, plaster, clay, concrete, sand-lime brick, gypsum plasterboard, etc.). Also suitable for use on dull, absorbent synthetic resin emulsion paints (always test on a small area first).
Suitable for interior use.
Brush, roller, airless spray.
Available in white or light shades only, Auro Wall Paint can be tinted with 25g of pigment per 10L of paint.
To prepare the color, simply dilute the pigments in a little water and mix well to avoid lumps. The mixture should have the texture of a slightly liquid yogurt. Once the mixture is homogeneous, add it to the paint and mix well.
***Note: Wet paint remains translucent during application but becomes completely opaque when dry.
Intact and not very absorbent surfaces: Impregnate them regularly with Auro Wall Paint diluted with max. 10% water if necessary. After 4 to 6 hours of drying, apply one to two coats of undiluted Auro Wall Paint by brush, roller or airless spray.
Two coats are generally required to achieve a good finish.
Heavily and irregularly absorbent surfaces: Apply a casein primer to even out the base. After 8 hours of drying, apply a coat of undiluted Auro Wall Paint by brush, roller or airless spray. An additional coat can be applied but is not necessary if the result is satisfactory.
DRYING TIME IN NORMAL CLIMATE CONDITIONS (20°C / 65% relative humidity)
Can be overcoated after approximately 4 to 6 hours. Fully dry and durable after 28 days. Drying time increases with high humidity and/or low temperature. Sufficient temperate ventilation is essential during drying.
CLEANING OF TOOLS
Clean tools immediately after use with a vegetable soap (e.g. Marseille soap). Remove product residues by scraping and wash thoroughly with water.
It should be noted that the yield may vary depending on the substrate, the application method and the quality of the surface. Determine exact consumption by testing.
